tactician met the 20-year-old forward ahead Super Eagles’ international
friendlies against the Teranga Lions and Stallions in London.
Coach
Gernot Rohr has visited Noah Joel Bazee in Germany following his invitation to
Nigeria national team for the friendly games against Senegal and Burkina Faso.
The
20-year-old who plays for Hannover 96 in the second division was born to
Nigerian and German parents – and was among the surprise players invited by
Rohr.
The
visit was captured by the Nigeria Super Eagles official Twitter handle.
Bazee
was on parade for Hannover 96 in their 2-0 to Karlsruher SC on Saturday. The
forward who was cautioned in the 35th minute was replaced in the 58th minute by
Niclas Fuellkrug.
His
invited to the Super Eagles would spark up competition in the three-time Africa
champions attack ahead this year’s Africa Cup of Nations and Fifa World Cup
qualifiers.
Bazee
has featured 11 times for his Bundesliga-chasing side team this season with a
goal to his name.
Earlier on, the German tactician paid a visit to Mainz defender Leon Balogun .
